4/2/24

I've been wildly depressed for who knows how long now. Nothing feels real and I'm losing it. Still trying to crawl out of this funk. I have one good day and think I'm getting better. Only to wake up ten times worse the next day lol. Yay.

We picked up the trailer and didn't have any problems. We kept the trailer in Patti's driveway and I re-stocked all of our stuff. This took two days. We were going to leave on a Sunday but there was a snowstorm coming in. We didn't want to risk driving in this with the trailer so we waited an extra day.

Cherry wouldn't take her medicine the second day in a row so she wasn't drugged for the truck. She was a mess the first half of the trip but she ended up doing not so bad. Figaro was in his cage and he had no problem with the truck ride. We had an easy trip to our destination in Michigan. Once we set-up and the cats were inside, Cherry settled nicely, Figaro seems to still be adjusting a bit. He hides under the covers on the bed a lot. Cherry loves the trailer, there's nowhere else she'd rather be.

Joe works 6 days out of the week. His day off is Friday. This is when we try to do stuff in the area. We've been to some beaches, a lighthouse, winery, brewery, an antique store, and a few parks. We want to do Notre Dame while we're here. We also want to do the RV museum, Beer Church, and Indiana Sand Dunes.

I've read Matthew McConaughey's book, super good. Haven't read much else.

I made out first holiday meal in the trailer for Easter. I'm amazed with how well it all turned out. The RV easy-bake oven is no joke. We are still sitting on left-overs.

I believe we are going to drive to Indiana, 2-2.5 hours, to see the Solar Eclipse this coming Monday. We also have to switch sites within the next week.. Not looking forward to that but I know it'll be pretty easy.

Here's to hoping I have a good day tomorrow.
