Bamboo Forest

 There's a lot of bamboo here so we decided to look if there were any forests around. Turns out that Oconaluftee Island Park in Cherokee has one. So we headed to Cherokee. We wanted to visit here anyways. The bamboo forest is huge and just so random to me lol. The park is on the smaller side and is more for children or fishing. So we walked through the forest twice and then went around to some stores in Cherokee to check them out. Didn't find too much. They do have a lot of nice things but nothing that we need. There are also a lot of poppies here and that's Joe's favorites lol. So on our way back to Hayesville we stopped at the largest spot of them. On the side of the highway. A lot of people stop here because you can see the trails. The flowers were so pretty. 

Joe wanted to find good tobacco for his pipe so we went to a smoke shop in Franklin to check it out. Franklin looks like a ghost town. Empty and rundown lol. Also didn't find what he was looking for. 

Filled up at the spring again on the way back!
