October 8th
Went to work with Joe so that I could take the truck back and have it all day for errands. Got to see the sunrise on my way back home. Went to the small local coffee shop in town and got a lavender matcha latte. So good. Then I went to a different grocery store to do most of our grocery shopping. It reminded me a lot of Heinen's but even more fancy. Not going there again because everything was so highly priced lol. It was beautiful and I would spend all my money there if I had the money lol. I found a super Walmart on my way back home so I stopped there for some of the things I didn't get. This is where I'll be doing the rest of our shopping while we are here. It's close to the city and this place reminds me a lot of Oklahoma City, which I was not a fan of lol. People here are awful drivers and everyone is rude and super annoying.
Brought in all the groceries and got everything put away. Made lunch and then packed Joe's lunch for tomorrow. I went to go check out the apothecary that is across the river in Wisconsin. I could not find it and the little town is like Medina but on steroids. Even more packed than Medina, and scary, so I left lol. I went to the park that I wanted to check out next. This is where they have buffalo heard during certain times of the year. The park itself is nice and quiet. Not much to see but it's peaceful.
When I got home I started to make Joe a dinner. There was leftover bacon here and I came up with some chicken bacon wrap and he ended up really liking it. I also made some potato soup, so good. And bread.
Went to the nuclear power plant to get Joe.
Ate. We finished the show we were watching and went to sleep.
