October 11th

 Went with Joe to work so that I could have the truck again. I went to Minnehaha Park to go to Minnehaha Falls. This is right in the city and I hate driving in cities. The park is actually super nice and well taken care of. The falls are easy to get to and there's a loop trail if you want to see more nature. Parking wasn't too bad. I went early so I'm sure that's why. There's the Mississippi National River here and there's a stamp for the National Park Passport book. I tried to get one at two locations that are mentioned on their website. I failed. I couldn't find the locations, or they no longer exist. I think they need to update their website lol. So I didn't get a stamp. I did some errands, Tractor Supply and Walmart. Got the cats two new blankets for their new spots that they enjoy in the house. I went back and made lunches. I decided to check out Afton State Park because I felt like I didn't get to go out in nature as much as I wanted to today. The park is a decent size and it goes along the St. Croix River. There weren't too many people out and it was a lovely day. I did some of the Northern River trail and I went to the beach. Went back to the Nuclear Power plant to get Joe. Ate, watched our show, went to bed.

Made some apple spice syrup. You can use it in your coffee, red wine, drinks, pancakes, ice cream, so on.
