August 30th

Today was nice and chilly! We finally went to the visitor center at Cuyahoga Valley National Park and got a stamp for our passport book. The visitor center is super nice! We did a little hike not far from here as well. Called the Pine Tree Farm trail. It borders the tree farm where I always got a Christmas tree while growing up. There is also a section that is now an abandoned tree farm. We also walked by the park rangers releasing a red tailed hawk and we were invited to watch. That was pretty neat. I was driving since Joe's truck is finally in the shop getting everything done. So on the way back home I stopped at Richfield so we could see if Kirby's Mill was up and running yet. It's not but they are halfway done now. We stopped by the hidden falls here too. We also went to Walmart to get mason jars and ingredients for my pickle soup. Oktoberfest beer by Great Lakes is also out now so we had to get some of that.

I made the soup and everyone enjoyed it. It's seriously so good, I want more now lol. Played some dominoes and went to bed.

We saw so many honey bees on the trail.

Lots of pretty wildflowers

This is where they released the red tail hawk.

Got our stamp!

Lots of berries on the hike as well.
