August 5th

We've had a few storms here over the last week. We mostly stayed in the trailer and hung out at the campground. It's nice to just relax and not always be doing something lol. Especially because the jump to Ohio is going to be fast.

Today we did the last thing on our Wyoming list- National Museum of Military Vehicles. $20 gets you in and the wristband is good for 2 days. U.S Military Veterans/Active Duty are free. They run tours throughout the day but we went for the self-guided. We spent 5 hours here. There is so much to see. The museum is set-up beautifully. Dan Starks is the owner and in 2012 he bought a tank. It was the start of something big. Since then he's acquired hundreds more tanks, jeeps, trucks, motorcycles, landing craft, and other military vehicles. It's now the biggest collection of military rolling stock in the U.S. outside of the armed forces themselves. We kept wondering how one guy can afford such equipment. Well turns out he's the director of Abbott Laboratories and Chairman, CEO, & President of St Jude Medical Inc. 😂

There's also a cafe, The Canteen, on the grounds. Food is made to order and super yummy! I had the loaded grilled cheese with no bacon. Joe had a classic burger.

I did the last of our laundry because we won't be at a campground with laundry for 6 days. Which is fine lol. I'm going to get the truck ready for the cats later tonight. Tomorrow morning I'll tear down the inside and get ready to go. Our jumps this time are 2-3 hours. Which will make this a lot easier for us and the cats. So we will see how things go!

Tomorrow is a Harvest Host stay, still in Wyoming.
