August 12th
Woke up and went to the museum when they opened. We finished it at a decent time and packed up and hit the road before 11am. This time it was nice as windy of a drive. The cats were still freaking out but they quit halfway through. They were pretty tired.
Checked in and the owners gave us homemade cookies. SO good. We were had a pick of four possible spots. We got the most shady one. Super nice hosts.
Set-up pretty quickly and the cats felt right at home. I had a bunch of laundry to do since we haven't been to a campground with laundry the last few days. I did three loads. I think this is actually the cheapest laundry we've had at a campground so far.
Going to make dinner and then sit outside with some wine and see if we can watch any of the meteor shower tonight!
Tomorrow we are just hanging out. I'm going to try and catch up on all my posts and stuff.
I don't have much planned for this trip. More just relaxing after and before all the rest of the traveling to get back to Ohio. Sioux Falls is close and they have a pipe shop that Joe wants to check out. There's also a lot of waterfalls in town. Kind of like Chagrin Falls back home. There's also an Ultra (it's been so long) that I'd like to go to and get some stuff.
ALSO a sushi place that is supposed to be super good! Trying that out while in town.
