I'm still trying to get us a place for August 17-19th. The place I picked out has a site that doesn't work. I called twice and the lady answered once and said she'd call me in 10-20 minutes. It's been hours so I am assuming she forgot lol. I'll have to try again tomorrow since it seems to be the only place at the perfect half way point. Other then that everything else is booked and we should be home August 22nd.
Today we went into Sioux Falls. Joe went to his tobacco shop and found what he was looking for. I went to Ulta and got dry shampoo, conditioner, face mask, and gua sha. They no longer have the ACV dry shampoo powder. I always thought it was our Ulta but I guess not. Which is sad because it was the best dry shampoo.
On our Costco run we got Joe more socks, a new rug, a new blanket for the bed, and a big bag of coffee beans. Oh and an air purifier, which we really needed.
Went out for some sushi at a place that seems like it's going to soon be closed. They opened a little late and only seemed to have two employees. Which is sad because it seems like it was once the spot to be. Everything we had was super good and the chef was nice and funny.
Falls Park was really nice aside form the smell. I don't know what it was but it was an awful smell lol. There was a viewing tower along with multiple viewing platforms. Lots of history bits here as well. An old mill. Multiple cascades of water. Nothing crazy but it was nice to check out.
Going to walk down the dirt road along the corn field soon and watch the sun set. Then come back and get ready for moving day tomorrow. Hoping to get a spot at this first come first serve site in Iowa at the Grotto I've been dying to go to.
