Pine Bluffs Distilling!

This was our first Harvest Host stay and we loved it! We were greeted by Aiden the second we entered the parking lot. They were going to get some rain so he had us park a little on hill since they get water washed. We settled in and got the cats all comfy. Walked over to the distillery and hung out with Aiden. We all got to know each other and had some of their mixed drinks. Each drink here is unique! The lemon smash was the best. Bourbon + lemon + mint + their own barrel aged maple syrup! We hung out and waited with everyone else for the pizza truck. Everyone here was super friendly. We got a bunch of recommendations for Lander! We met the owners and were able to hear their story. Basically the husband came home one day and said "we are opening a distillery" and the wife said, "okay." 😂 I wish I got their names. I'm surprised I remembered Aiden's name. They've been open five years now and the bartender was telling us that in the whiskey world it takes four years to be taken seriously. So now people might take them more serious. They make a lot of their own stuff here. Vodka, Gin, Bourbon, Whiskey, I think that was all. But still, that's everything! The pizza food truck was a local family. A mom and her son run the place. The kid had to be 8 or 9. He was working so hard! The pizza was great. Made ready to order so it took 40 minutes but we were still hanging out with our new friends lol. There was one other trailer staying during our stay. They also had a Grand Design and were from Mansfield, OH! So funny how we were both staying here on our way to Wyoming. This was also their first Harvest Host. Like I said before, we always end up meeting other Ohioans.

Once we got our pizza we went back to the trailer and made some drinks with the Rye Whiskey Joe bought from them. A storm rolled through and then passed once it was time for the town's fireworks. We were able to watch them from our trailer. I think the wind really messed up their normal show. The fireworks were nice but nothing like Ohio lol.
