Halfway to Wyoming

Still on our trek to Wyoming. We are currently in Little Sioux, IA. We are staying at another Hipcamp. This is on the property of a membership only campground and the lady we are renting from use to own The Fence-Post. This was a convenience store and little cafe. Temporarily shutdown for now. It really seems like a charming place and I was excited to try it out. Kind of sucks, but I'm glad they'll get her up and running again. This is definitely a party campground lol. They're up all night zipping around on their golf carts, screaming, playing music, having fun. Lots of fireworks were blown off last night. She said we could walk around the campground if we wanted. If anyone said anything then just let them know we are with Kathy. 

We would have but these past few travel days have not been the best. So we just hung out and watched a movie. Every state we are in I find a movie filmed there to watch. Last night was The Straight Story on Disney. Cute little movie. 

On our way here we blew a tire on the interstate. Of course it was on the side of the road. Semi trucks just flying by. My poor kitties have seen it all.

I knew our time was coming but we avoided it for so long! Now we can join the club. We have our blow out story 😅 If you plan on buying a trailer or RV, replace the tires immediately. The tires are not meant for traveling. We knew this and replaced two of the four before traveling. Should have replaced all four. Thankfully we had the one tire patched and we were able to ride on that to Little Sioux. This is a two night stay so Joe was able to go out and get three new tires today. We are replacing the patched one, the other original tire, and the other is for the spare. 

I stayed back because it's storming again and I'm insane. I can't leave the cats alone if I feel like it'll be a bad storm. We've had so many that I forgot what normal storms are like. Thankfully today is a normal one. The next two days are supposed to be nice here, on our journey, and the destination. Praying it stays that way because I can't take this anymore lol.

She is so stinking pretty but not at all photogenic 😂💗
