Hank Williams

Joe was able to walk better today so we went to Hank Williams childhood home (one of them) in Georgiana. From there we got a brochure that had an entire Hank trail on it going through most of Alabama. Since we were already two hours out from the campsite and pretty close to the gravesite we decided to keep going. We originally just wanted to see the gravesite. Joe's legs started to hurt again but we went for it. We discovered an old joint he used to eat at, Chris' Hotdogs! They've been open since 1917 and the same family still owns the place. Old style type of diner. We loved it! So now we are in Montgomery and decided to go to his statue as well. Montgomery is a cute little city. A lot of it seems to be ran down but the "downtown" part is nice. Not sure how nice, because we saw a lot of cops just sitting around lol.

Chris' Hot Dogs

His wife was crazy but so pretty and made for good music lol

This dance hall was so small! I imagine people outside and all over just dancing!

Some times cops sit here to watch out for people who vandalize as well.

I love this

So pretty. His mom is to the right of them.

Now I've been to two places where Elvis has eaten lol
