6/14-15
6/14- Joe drove all day and got back to camp around 10pm.
6/15- Went into town to patch up the tire that had a screw in it. Went to Walmart for more leveling blocks and a few other things for the trailer. Came back to the trailer since it was going to storm. Ended up not storming. Joe took a load of the gray tank to the dump station. Went back into Holly Springs to check out a very old cemetery. Went to the square and walked around while checking out the historic markers along the way. Holly Springs reminds me of Medina but with way less going on. Looks like the city has lots of potential but nobody seems to think it's worth putting time into the place. Which makes sense. Not much to do, lots of history, but the city seems very poor.
Got back to Wall Doxey and took a walk to the spring fed lake. This place reminds me a lot of Girl Scouts (Richfield Heritage park) back home. I don't think anyone has used the pavilions in a long time. The dock out to the center of the lake looks like it could have caved in at any time. The walk around the lake is pretty decent. We only did half because we were being eaten by bugs and there were fish jumping around in the pond that sounded like alligators 😂
There's a summer camp going on here until Sunday for a Taekwondo class. I'm just glad the park is still somewhat being used lol.
Got back to the trailer and watched O Brother, Where Art Thou?
