9/18-19

Got our laundry done. This time the machines were so expensive! I'm glad we aren't here for that much longer. Laundry would have sucked because this is the only place close to do it.

I sat on the beach and finished reading Finding Perfect by Colleen Hoover. I really do love all of her books but sometimes I feel she rushes the endings. So much more could be said. 

I found out yesterday that she did add more to her book Verity. So excited!

Today was also the Jack Pine Lumberjack Show at 6:30pm. Lumberjack shows are everywhere around here and they're actually pretty fun. These guys do a bunch of different activities. You're on teams and they give out points to your lumberjack and they really try to get the crowd engaged. The host is usually pretty funny.

First they stand on a log and chop the wood from the middle to cut it in half with their axe. 

Second they saw a nickel off of a log with a one man cross cut saw.

Third they do axe throwing with a double bit axe. 

Fourth they do the springboard chop.

Fifth they climb a 45 foot pole and come back down.

Sixth they do the boom running in the water running across logs.

Seventh they do log rolling while both teams are on the same log trying to knock each other off. 

Lastly they do a combination where they run across the booms with a steel choker and they choke the logs. Throw an axe until one of them gets ten points. Cut another nickel off with the one man cross cut saw and finish.

9/19

Went to Walmart and got a few groceries. We leave in 9 days to go back to Ohio and still have a lot of food from our last run. Joe finally got new socks 😂 I also got All Your Perfects by Colleen Hoover. I'm basically reading the series backwards, it's fine lol.

We have, what seems like, 30,000 fruit flies in the trailer. Used apple cider vinegar and soap to get most of them. We also have some of those Safer Home Indoor Plug-In Fly Traps all around. It's amazing how many bugs end up on that thing!

Emptied all of the tanks and rinsed out the black tank a couple of times. 

Started to watch The Waltons and now I'm hooked. Joe hates the show, sadly lol.
