The cats are always being delinquents. Figaro woke me up multiple times. He was also attacking the macramé my sunglasses hang from. I'm surprised it took him this long to notice he could play with it. Had my coffee and took Cherry outside. I had her tied to the chair so that I could run inside to take out the garbage. I came back and she got spooked. So she easily eased herself out of her harness. She just sat there eating grass. Bad kitty.
I have to figure out the harness situation. Figaro likes to watch her from the screen door but he's still content not being outside.
We had eggs and toast this morning. With the jam we made from the berries on the hiking trail.
We went to the Cornish Pumping Engine and Mining Museum along with the World War II Glider and Military Museum.
It was $12 an adult for both museums. The Cornish Pump Engine is huge. There's so much history here, it's nuts. After the museums we went to Norway Spring to fill up some more water jugs and our water bottles. On the way there we saw a semi pulled over taking a picture with the Norway viking on a boat. He said his mother is from Norway. He was so happy to be taking the picture lol.
On our way back home we went to check out the other side of the road. We didn't come across anything neat. I made a mushroom sauce for dinner. I put mine over toast and Joe put his over leftover noodles. I also made a salad with chopped onions, cucumber, tomatoes. Tossed with olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
We went down the street to Vagabond Park to catch the sunset. There was a ton of people here this time. It looked like a high school gathering. They were chopping down a tree for their bonfire. They do things a little different here 😂
