August 20th 2022

Today we went to the farmer's market. Everything was kind of picked over. I didn't get everything I wanted but that's okay. We got potatoes and cucumbers. Went to a local coffee shop, Neu coffee. I thought it was great, 9/10. 

Filled up 5 gallons at Norway Spring. Took a hike around Little Fumee Lake. Saw a turtle sunbathing on a log. You can also go off a side trail and have a view of Lake Fumee. A huge lake! There's a little "beach" here too. We did the South Ridge Trail. Had a few black and raspberries. Met a guy walking his dog that was shocked to see us on the trail. We were saying it looked like a trail less traveled. He confirmed that there is not many folk on this trail lol. Which I love! So we will definitely be coming back. We took some good pictures of Little Fumee Lake. 

Joe finally dumped the black tank with the "poop suitcase" after seven days. He said that it is really not that bad with the suitcase. Didn't smell as bad as  he thought and didn't make any mess at all. Taking 2 trips every 4 days to the dump station should be good. The bigger tote might of been ideal but that can be a purchase down the road. This works for now. 

Got another camp chair from Walmart. Tie-dye with a cooler and bottle opener, $7! Bought wood from someone that cuts and splits it themselves. We've been looking for wood that is decently priced. In Ohio and most areas where there are campgrounds I feel there is always someone selling wood. Where we are, that's not the case. So Joe had joined a Facebook Group of the area and found people that had wood.

Got back to camp and had a fire. Made more hotdogs and had a couple of beers. Wanted to try something brewed locally. It was called Short's Brew, 5/10. Watched That Darn Cat from 1965. I was tired so we had to pause halfway through.
